Robert Zubowski is the founder of Image Reborn of New Jersey, a not-for-profit breast reconstruction support group designed to help women through the breast reconstruction process and lectures frequently on reconstructive breast issues.

Robert Zubowski, M.D., is the Medical Director of Surgiplex, a fully accredited ambulatory surgical center which he co-founded in 1996 and which serves as the primary surgical facility for his practice, Center for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He has over 10 years of surgical experience and is well known for the quality of his results and his ability to understand his patients needs.

Dr. Zubowski served as Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at New York Medical College and is currently Associate Director of Plastic Surgery at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey. He is also Plastic Surgery Specialty Director of the Alumni Association for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and currently serves as an adjunctive staff member.

Dr. Zubowski completed his medical training at New York Medical College and completed residencies in two specialties - General Surgery at the New York Medical College and Plastic Surgery at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Zubowski is board certified in both Plastic Surgery and General Surgery although he limits his practice to Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Zubowski is certified in cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons, American Medical Association, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a candidate for membership of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Zubowski also serves on the Clinical Advisory Panel to the After Breast Cancer Program of Bergen County, New Jersey.

While Dr. Zubowski's credentials speak to his knowledge, his surgical skill and compassionate manner are the basis of his greatest recognition. While he specializes in all forms of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Zubowski has a particular interest and is most well known for his breast surgery where he has an excellent reputation and unique ability for achieving a very natural appearance for his patients. In addition, Dr. Zubowski's interest in facial and body contouring, coupled with his understanding of structure and form, allow him to achieve this same natural and youthful transformation for his patients seeking all forms of aesthetic surgery.

Dr. Zubowski is also known for his work in patient and peer education frequently lecturing on all aspects of plastic surgery. He is cofounder of Image Reborn of New Jersey, a not-for-profit breast reconstruction support group designed to help women through the breast reconstruction process and lectures frequently on reconstructive breast issues. Zubowski also volunteers his reconstructive skills to Interplast, a group designed to provide reconstructive surgery to underprivileged children with congenital birth defects in third world countries. He has appeared on " The View", "Fox Cable News" and the "New Jersey News Network", as well as numerous radio talk shows and local newspaper articles.

Dr. Zubowski resides in Old Tappan, New Jersey with his wife and is the proud father of three children. He is the President of the Old Tappan Board of Health and he enjoys golf, basketball, Skiing, softball and swimming.
